Get Booked To Book Others
WELCOME TO GET BOOKED TO
BOOK OTHERS
The following 20 short edited clips came out of a morning (zoom) session I (Sameena) had with Scott. And as I was experiencing difficulty in explaining in words certain components of what should go in the agreement (as I am not a writer), Scott asked me to ask him any questions I had with regards to the agreement/rules, and he will answer them directly on video, (hence, which is what you will see in these clips).
Please watch all the clips on this page when you can be fully present (and they are very short bit sized clips), and carefully read all that is involved in participating in this abundantly nurturing and prosperous process with us, and what you can do to ensure that you have an enjoyable and meaningful journey as a Tribe Member, and the entire process is stress free and seamless for everyone involved.
Setting Up The Agreement For Our Fellow Tribe Members
In this Clip, Scott is creating the space for me to communicate whatever I want to communicate about the agreement for our current members, any component of the agreement that may have been missing.
The Spirit Behind The Agreement
By letting everyone know the story behind the agreement, members are willing to sign off on it.
THE ULTIMATE PURPOSE AS A TRIBE PARTICIPANT:
We get booked, so that we can then book others (another member in the Tribe) in the section of the book that we were booked in (according to Step 12 language, so that we can pass on what was passed onto us). In this context, it is the booking process - booking another member in the Tribe on what we got booked in first.
In the booking process, the person who is doing the booking, is ultimately the guide, using the book (section of the book they are booking in be their guide when they are booking another Tribe member).
In the booking process, the person who is doing the booking, is ultimately the guide, using the book (section of the book they are booking in be their guide when they are booking another Tribe member).
All Past 1111 Guests And Current Members Receive This For Free.
All past 1111 guests who came into the studio and current members who came in prior to this new agreement coming into existence will never have to pay any money to be part of this (Get Booked To Book Others Tribe).
Where Do I Log In For My Session?
A third zoom account has been purchased by Scott for only and specifically this purpose. So the third zoom account is only for our Get Booked To Book Others Tribe Members to use for their booking sessions, and it is only to be used for this purpose - Whenever they have a booking session through our Tribe. And Logistics of how to access the account for the scheduled booking session will be provided to you at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled booking session.
How Do I Access The Footage From MY Booking Session (If Needed)?
- All recordings will automatically be put in the Cloud, where you will then be able to have access to them
-You only Agree to access the Files that will be in Cloud that you know for a fact is the actual File of you Booking one of the members or one of the members Booking you.
Providing A Backup System To Serve Our Members
- Selected (original) booking sessions with Scott will be included in the private membership site as an option and as a (back up aswell) so members can access prior to their booking session (for those who are booking another member).
No Soliciting For Business And/OR Other (Personal Hidden Agendas)
- You Agree that the Tribe will not be used as a way to solicit for clients for your own business, nor will it be used as a networking/marketing platform to serve an ulterior motive other than the purpose for which we created it. If you want a refresher to understand the roots behind this concept, click here to read our story on the https://www.getbookedtobookothers.com/ .
- You also agree that your reason for participating in our Get Booked To Book Others Tribe is ONLY for the purpose this concept was designed and originally created for.
The Delivery Of The Booking Process
- The role of the leader (person doing the booking -taking another member through a section of the book)
- The role of the leader in a booking session is to help the other person they are booking learn the contents of the book/section of the book they are using.
- As the leader, let the book/section in the book you are taking a member through be your ultimate guide.
- As the leader, it is your responsibility to make sure that the other person (member) you are booking has an understanding of what is being read, the contents of what they are taken through
- The best way you can do this is by checking in with the person you are booking with questions that make them think. The clip below explains this further ....
The Spirit Behind These Rules
- Scott is the creator of this booking process, and rules are designed for Members to get the most value out of each session.
- And certain terms and conditions are put in place to support Sameena's well-being in everyway, and so she does not end up becoming a full-time volunteer taking away the enjoyment of this process for her.
Why The Rules Are NOT Negotiable
What Happens When Things Break Down
- When you don’t follow the rules, things break down. When things break down everyone suffers.
More On Why The Rules Must Be Followed
We are not volunteers. We share the process and learning. Breakdowns mean extra work for others.
You Must Book All Sessions Through The Membership
- If you don’t do this, you won’t get the zoom link, and you will have caused a breakdown.
The Story Behind The Colors
- The leader is responsible for stating the colors used in the session.
Do Not Interrupt The Leader
- Unless the leader doesn’t follow one of the rules. If that happens, remind them what the rule is. We’re all human.
A Discussion Of The Colors
- An example of the purpose of the blue highlighter
Booking Is More Than Just Reading
- It is a deep study of the text.
The Rest Of The Logistics/Agreement Content:
We want you to book with us, so that you can book others in the future. Each of us playing the roles of both seeker and guide, booking and being booked.
As a reminder, you are receiving this for free exclusively because you have been personally invited by me, Sameena or Scott to be part of this abundant journey with us.
Your only expense may be, the hard copy of the book you choose, and a set of highlighters as already previously explained.
Learning by teaching others is extremely effective. This has been known for a very long time, and it was mentioned in May of 2018 in the Research Digest of the British Psychological Society.
We like the words seeker and guide because we are always both. The “guide” in a booking session doesn’t need to be older, or wiser, or more deeply familiar with the material we read. It simply means that both have agreed that this person will be the leader this time, and the other will follow along.
And I can promise you. Once you start booking a section that you have already been booked on, you will always want to book a ton more than you want to be booked. It’s just that awesome.
You see, teaching a topic causes learning at a deeper level. That is why many instructors in college will require the students to lead the class. And we’re going to make it very easy for you to book others.
You are at this page now because you gave us your email on the 1212 home page.
Now I’ll explain how this is all going to work in a logistical sense.
First, you’ll read through this so you fully understand how it all works.
Next, you’ll be taken to our Membership Agreement page. Once you’ve read, understood and agreed to our Terms and Conditions, you’ll be taken to the calendar where you’ll schedule your first booking session.
When you do that, we’ll automatically set you up in our private membership site. That is where you’ll schedule the sessions where you get booked after the first one. Sameena will guide you how to do this, so then you can do it yourself going forward with no complications.
Your commitment to booking others is required in order for you to join and be booked. The commitment can be very small. You only need to commit to a minimum of 1 hour - 90-minute MAX slot per week.
This slot MUST be during your free time, and have no effect on time you should be spending at your job or with your family. The actual time you spend online for the booking should be no longer than 72 minutes, but for scheduling, we use 90-minute slots.
You will also be given a link to our private Facebook group. You will need to be a member of Facebook. If you’re not a member, please go and set up your profile right now. You won’t be allowed to be booked, or book others, unless you are a member of our Facebook group first.
Once you get the link, you’ll click and go to the group. There you’ll request membership. You’ll have to answer a few questions, and within a few hours, your request will be granted, and you’ll be a member.
Now, we want to help you get the most out of your booking session. And the only way to do that is if your momentum hasn’t been derailed by technical or process-related issues.
Because the purpose of your booking session is to be fully present with each other and the text we are studying together, as soon as any technical issues arise, your booking session could possibly end or be cut short because of technical challenges. And if this were to happen unexpectedly, you can ask to reschedule the booking session and start all over again when technology is solid and working.
But, lets do our best to avoid technical related breakdowns from occurring during (or just before) the booking sessions, so the flow of the whole experience can be enjoyable and stress-free for both the guide (person booking) and the person being booked.
All booking sessions happen on Zoom (Video) If you can’t do a Zoom meeting, you won’t be able to book or be booked.
Your technology is your responsibility so please make sure you have the following:
Yellow = Prayers/suggestions. There are prayers in the Big Book, but not so much in our other books. In these books you’ll see sections that make suggestions about a certain action or mindset that will help you attract what you want, but they are not instructions.
Purple = we use this for passages that talk about teaching or helping others. This color is used to help emphasize how important teaching is to the entire 1212 program.
Pink = positive promises. The good things you receive for doing the right things in life. “Abundance doesn’t merely show up in your experience. You attract it by thinking properly” would be highlighted in pink.
Blue = when a passage in your book refers to the book itself, or to the teachings in that book. We use blue because that is the color of the Big Book, where this technique was created. For instance, the phrase “the subject presented in this book” would be highlighted in blue.
Orange = pay close attention. Something important but does not fit with any other color. Remember orange is the color that informs us to slow down and pay special attention. We use orange to mark our “ah ha” moments. For instance “So our troubles, we think, are basically of our own making” would be highlighted in orange.
On a side note: Scott Gallagher created the Color Coding System which originated from the Big Book Of Alcoholics Anonymous. You can click here to learn more about the color coding system and how it was first applied to the Big Book.
Because booking is such a personal experience, we always have our cameras turned on during the Zoom meeting.
Please understand that all Zoom booking sessions are recorded. The reason for this is simple. Once you are booked in a section of a book, you are immediately qualified to book that section to someone else. This idea of booking someone else in something you just learned is kind of stressful to most people. So to support you, we send you the video of your booking session as soon as it compiles.
Then you watch yourself getting booked in that section right before booking someone else. That way your own session is fresh in your mind when you book someone.
That video is securely hosted. Once you’ve led your first booking session, you can request that the video be deleted, or you can keep it to review next time you book that session.
Once you request the video be deleted, it’s gone forever, so make sure you won’t need it again before you make that request!
Now, whether you booked or got booked, as soon as it’s over, you need to create a Social Sharing Video (SSV), post it in the Facebook group, then make an Appreciation Acknowledgement Comment (AAC).
Your SSV is a selfie video where you record yourself talking about what you most got present to during the booking session. Both the guide and the seeker will generally get strongly present to something they want to talk about. Most people use their smartphone to create the video.
In the Facebook group, you’ll make a post with your video. You’ll attach the video and write a simple post as follows.
If you were being booked:
“I was booked by [first name] in pages xx-xx of [book name], and this is what I got present to”.
For example “I was booked by John in pages 40-46 of Ask And It Is Given, and this is what I got present to”.
If you booked someone:
“I booked [first name] in pages xx-xx of [book name], and this is what I got present to”.
For example “I booked Janet in pages 20-31 of the Big Book, and this is what I got present to”.
Your video can be any length. Some are barely one minute, some are over 10 minutes. It just depends on what you got present to.
And remember, your SSV is the primary way that someone will know you, and schedule with you to book them.
Once your video posts, you’ll leave your AAC. The purpose is to make a comment of Appreciation and Acknowledgement on someone else’s video. You should either comment on the most recent post, or if it already has a bunch of comments, scroll down and comment on a video that doesn’t have as many comments.
The rules of the AAC are pretty simple: you can only write something positive and supportive.
You MUST NOT make a comment that is in anyway critical, you must not give advice, and you must not coach the person that made the video. Just say something nice. It’s pretty simple. You don’t even have to watch the video!
When you get into the Facebook group, you’ll see a ton of SSVs with AACs, and you’ll be able to see how easy it is.
Alright, now you have everything you need for your booking appointment.
At the bottom of the page, when you say you want to get booked to book others, you’ll be taken to our Membership
Agreement page.
There you will be asked to read, understand, and agree to our rules. They are:

At the bottom of the page, when you say you want to get booked to book others, you’ll be taken to our Membership
Agreement page.
There you will be asked to read, understand, and agree to our rules. They are:
- You will commit to booking another at least once per week (you can do it more often)
- You will always respect the boundaries of our private facebook group. We do this for the security and benefit of all users. You must never show the group to a non-member. Similarly you may not take a video out of the group and show it to a non-member. If you think someone you know might benefit from something in the membership area, feel free to invite them to join us. It will always be free of charge
- After each booking session, both the guide and the seeker will create a social sharing video. .
- After you post your social sharing video, you will leave an appreciation and acknowledgement comment on someone else’s video as explained above.
- You acknowledge that after your first session with Scott, you’ll go inside the membership site and sign up to be booked by someone other than the person that just booked you. We really want to avoid creating any kind of co-dependency dynamic which can often occur in group environments and 12 step programs where a false dependency is created with a single person. This is something completely unique about 1212. You get booked by a different person every time. Where your calendars align. You’re getting the experience of either giving or receiving the booking process from a different person each time. That’s the ideal we’re shooting for, and that’s the commitment we’re asking you to make to the tribe. Again, provided that it fits with your schedule. This is a place for giving, but not a place for sacrificing.
- All booking session calls are recorded using our zoom link which you’ll get in the email, and the recordings are kept on a secure site.
- This is a learning community, not a business networking space. In fact we are committed to maintaining the same level of purity found in my 1111 platform and All Addictions Anonymous and AA. That type of purity where we have one single primary purpose. And that is to carry the message in these books to others by booking.
- During your booking sessions and while posting comments in the Facebook group, do not post what you do for a living or talk about business.
Now that you know how this process works, if you wish to move forward, click on the How Do I Participate button below and it will take you to the simple Get Booked To Book Others Agreement page, where you can confirm that you have read, understand and agree to the Logistics details on this site, including the Terms And Conditions for participating in Get Booked To Book Others, and you would like to get started.
